<title>Fatfield Barrow</title>

In October and November 1907 the construction of a new road in Fatfield led to the removal of a barrow, composed of sand, and the excavation of three cists within it. The discovery was in the back lane between Castle Street and Victoria View, about just over half-way up from the south end, about 240 yards from the river and 135m from the ridge above it. </description>

<title>Bradley Hall Ice House Barrow</title>

<description>. A bronze age round barrow was opened at Bradley Hall sometime before 1787 and reported in that year. It was found to contain &quot;a square cavity, composed of stones set on edge, which enclosed the remains and ashes of the interred&quot;. Later reports describe a skeleton found within the cist.  </description>
