White Island An entrance grave, 9 cairns, bank and ditch field system. Accessible on foot from St Martins for just one hour either side of low tide.

Note: Access is hazardous as there are strong currents when the rocks are covered.

The causeway from St Martin's leading to the White Island. This is 1 hour before the low tide of 1.1m. Started off by stepping along boulders, but they can rock, it was easier to just walk on the seaweed.

Possibly the chambered cairn, as I couldn't find any other around this area where it is marked on map. September, 2011. SV 922176

Near the summit of the North end. SV 923176 [aprox]. On the way had to go through some dense ground cover, which included brambles, and many spiders. September, 2011.

Tiny island accessible on foot from St Martins for just one hour either side of low tide. Contains an entrance grave with an incomplete kerb of large boulders. Also nine cairns and a field system. The sea in this picture covers what would have been fields in the Bronze Age.
