Cairn in Cornwall

At half tide in West Porth a cairn is visible. The cairn is 14.5m diameter and 1.3m high, incorporating a natural rock on the west side. The perimeter bounded by larger stones (though they don't form a recognisable kerb). It is in the area of a field system, but is 20m from the nearest wall and its size and construction suggest that it is a burial cairn rather than a clearance mound.

The grid reference given by Bladup places this cairn within the scheduled area recorded as Historic England List ID 1016179, "Prehistoric cairns, prehistoric to post-medieval settlements and field systems, an early Christian focus, post-medieval kelp pits and quay on Tean and Old Man".
