The ramparts are obscured by the rock outcrop, which runs parallel to them (left to right) in the middle of this picture. Coetan Arthur is just beyond another rock outcrop, below the horizon to the left and the double dolmen of Carn Llidi is hard to spot on the slopes in the distance. Betwee... A dry-stone wall running north to south with two banks and a ditch defend a rocky headland at St David's. Seven hut foundations have been found inside.

St David's Head submitted by Horatio : St Davids Head Iron age fort entrance showing the dry stone bank and dyke that isolates this promontory from the eastern approach,the remaining sides of the fort are all steep cliffs down to the sea which makes this an ideal defensible position, as long the as this short 'neck of land that leads to this craggy promontory fort is well manned. St David's Head submitted by Horatio : Inside the iron age fort at St Davids Head you can clearly see the outline of some of the 7-8 hut circles. In this case one of them filled with climbing helmets from the local adventure company (the kids must've been off somewhere) and the group I was with for the day learning about the landscape, standing outside one of the circles.
