Comb Hill Causewayed Enclosure in East Sussex

A Neolithic causewayed enclosure. Some Early Bronze-Age beaker pottery was also deposited in one of the enclosure ditches.

View towards North Downs: This segment of the enclosure does not exist (the circle is only 3/4 of a circle) and terminates at steep ground: The incomplete segment of the enclosure is thought to be so steep that it served as if it were an enclosure.
