coldrum visited on 1st Jan 2010 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 5 Access: 4 The site has a tree growing from the top. There is a carpark nearby and nice views over Ashdown Forest.
One of the oldest remains in the Ashdown Forest is a tumulus near Four Counties car park. It is thought to be Bronze Age and is locally known as Peat Lump Hill (or Boyletts Boys). The barrow has a tree growing on the top of it.
