Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Lincolnshire.
The name of this site suggests that it may have had a fish cult associated with it like that of St Neot's Cornwall. The well was recently restored but remains an older probably Victorian basin.

It is easily found by the roadside near some new developments.

Located in Back Lane, adjacent to 1 Fish Well Close NG38 5ES. From the inscription on a tarnished brass plate, reading "Site of medieval fish well restored in the year 2000", the well surround has been rebuilt; one assumes with stone from the earlier construction assessed by the University Of Leicester's archaeological team, who dated the well to at least medieval times. 'Scillintun' is mentioned in the Domesday Book and settlement may go back as far as the late Roman occupation.
