Western Howes submitted by kelpie
Western Howes Round Barrows in North Yorkshire. This site is a series of three howes, two being quite prominent and standing just less than a metre in height, the third, most westerly barrow, stands less than 0.3 metres high.

They were been excavated in 1863 and found to contain cremated remains, a stone axe, a cup, a bone toggle and bone pins
