I have visited· I would like to visit

Majick123 saw from a distance on 15th Sep 2012 The road goes straight through it, but I chose to walk through the woods, as advised by the local guides, however came across an electric fence, so could not gain access

SolarMegalith visited on 20th Jun 2012 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 4 Access: 4

JohnLindsay visited - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 3 Access: 4 actually I'm not sure whether I quite got there or not, only to the woods... for there are kids scramble bike marks everywhere around and I can't tell what is vallation and what devallation and whatever bike scramble rides are called antiquarianwise. It is a short walk from bedwyn station, and well connected with footpaths and rights of way. It is near the river Dun with wonderful views.

Chisbury is a small pear shaped hillfort above the hamlet of Chisbury. It has bivallate & trivallate defences which are mostly wooded over but the northern sides defences are easily visible.

Within the northern side of the site is Chisbury manor and farm and on the western end is the 13th century Chisbury chapel, which has a nice reproduction of a 16th century map of the site on the wall inside.
