Originally it was an embanked stone circle with a bank 2m wide and 10m by 9m internally in diameter. There are two entrances to the NNE and SSW. The circle is so badly damaged that it is impossible to say how many stones there may have been originally. Only one now survives.
Note: A large batch of new photos from this little visited close byneighbour of the much visited Nine Ladies on Stanton Moor.
