Rainster Rocks Ancient Village/Sett in Derbyshire

Rainster Rocks located at is the site of a Romano-British settlement. Enclosure walls, earthworks and the remains of a road can be seen here at GR: SK218649. There is also some good ridge and furrow in the field through which the footpath goes.

Graffiti from 1691... Back here yesterday after a decade since my last visit. Very timeless vibe here. Still can't make out details of the settlement, but for visual and ambient appeal, this place is awesome.
