A well preserved long mound with possible Chambered Tomb in Gloucestershire. O.G.S. Crawford visited this long barrow in 1920 and wrote: "The barrow itself lies high and appears perfect and unopened. There are no signs anywhere of attempted mutilation. It is thinly planted with trees; it would be worthwhile taking immediate steps to preserve it, as these unmutilated long barrows are exceedingly rare."

Cold Aston
Cold Aston submitted by Humbucker : Its easy to drive past this barrow - there's no sign although its on a pathway, but you can just see it from the road if you look. Cold Aston submitted by thecaptain : The lovely Cold Aston longbarrow is well preserved, and up to 3 metres in height in places, oriented northwest to southeast. It is probably about 40 metres long by 20 metres wide. Seen here from the southwest. (Vote or comment on this photo)

This large long barrow can be clearly seen from miles around as it is covered with the obligatory beech trees, and stands in the middle of a large field, on top of a small crest.

The barrow is well preserved, and up to 3 metres in height in places, oriented northwest to southeast. It is probably about 40 metres long by 20 metres wide, but has been slightly damaged and ploughed into at the southeast end.
