Round Barrow in Wiltshire

A Bronze Age bowl barrow listed as Amesbury 39 is partly cut by the road and heavily mutilated. The excavations carried out in 1960 unearthed sherds of Windmill Hill ware, Peterborough ware and Grooved ware. Currently the mound is about 0,5 m high.
