Go from Bibury to Ablington and take the first right,follow this road for about 3 miles and you come to a large farm on the left. Park here,if you cannot find anybody follow the lane through the farm boildings 'till you come to a small wood.There is a wicket gate here go through and you are on the Barrow. Enjoy. There are 2 more barrows over there; the one in the field is pretty much ploughed out but still just visible and the other one at the edge of the wood is in better shape. Hamish must have visited shortly after the English Heritage/Bristol University manicurists because the Barrow is now decidedly overgrown - very tricky underfoot

Excavations in 1854. This is a longbarrow with at least one lateral chamber.
