Round Barrow(s) in Staffordshire

Much denuned unscheduled bowl barrow (assumed) clearly indicated on Ordnance Survey sites located on a shoulder of land under Ecton Hill in the east, with fine views into the Upper Manifold Valley north-east, and the lower Manifold valley south, and in the west the Staffordshire moors above Leek.

Warslow Bowl Barrow
Warslow Bowl Barrow submitted by astronomer : Another view of the barrow at Warslow. Just visible as a slight elevation in the foreground. Ecton Hill in the background is the site of a prehistoric copper mine that obviously created wealth for the locals during the Bronze Age. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Warslow Bowl Barrow
Warslow Bowl Barrow submitted by astronomer : This barrow is now almost completely ploughed out but still visible as a very low rise in the field, c40cm high x 20m diameter . Best seen by walking around when the slight 3D elevation becomes more readily visible. (Vote or comment on this photo)
