Rock Art in Northumberland
Three rock art panels are recorded by NADRAP as being part of Beckensall's Weetwood Moor North collection, but they were unable to locate these panels in the field. The grid reference given is therefore only approximate.
Weetwood Moor North ab: For basic information see England's Rock Art entry for ERA-786 Weetwood Moor North ab. NADRAP records: "There are some similarities between this stone and Weetwood Moor North C which has been recorded separately. Future investigation may prove they are duplicate records."
Weetwood Moor North ad: For basic information see England's Rock Art entry for ERA-788 Weetwood Moor North ad. NADRAP says: "(the panel forms part of the Weetwood Moor North a collection on the Beckensall Archive. It is described as having cup marks on two sides. The stone could not be located during the project."
