Round Cairn in Yorkshire (North)

This round cairn sits on the Black Hill part of Low Bradley Moor. It has a diameter of 30 meters by 24 meters, with a main north-south axis. There are 4 or 5 depressions within the cairn, probably as a result of stone robbing.

This cairn sits on a higher part of the land than Low Bradley Long Barrow which is 50meters to the north west, 60meters NE is a ring cairn.

For more information see Historic England List ID 1010550 and Pastscape Monument No. 48086. The Journal of Antiquities also includes details of this cairn in their entry for Bradley Long Cairn, Farnhill, North Yorkshire, which includes photographs, a description and reference sources for more information.

Black Hill Round Cairn
Black Hill Round Cairn submitted by Sunny100 : Black Hill Round cairn on Bradley Low Moor, near Farnhill, North Yorkshire. Sadly nothing of great interest left but a large pile of stones with maybe four slight depression at intervals. Nothing if anything remains of the chamber(s). But there are some nice views towards the north from here. (Vote or comment on this photo)
