Round Barrow(s) in Gloucestershire

This Round Barrow lies midway between the villages of Woodmancote and Rencomb and is a very attractive site. It is a Bronze Age Round Barrow reported by several worthies inc. G B Witts - RB 77; and in the Transactions of Bris. & Glos. Arch. Soc. 1960 Vol 79 p 126. It is on the pastscape website 327198, it is also often mentioned in conjunction with another Round Barrow (ploughed out), evidence (on aerial photos) of which shows, supposedly, it to lie 30m to the NW but the field being laid to pasture it is hard to tell.

It is about 3m high and 40m in diameter and has been fenced off. Obviously excavated at some time, unfortunately there does not seem to be any record of when. A nice site, easy to find.
