Chambered Cairn in Aberdeenshire

This site has been classified as a chambered cairn but all that remains is the boulder kerb and a central structure. The centre comprises three standing stones around a coverstone.

In 1988 the site was vandalised but repaired under the auspices of Grampian regional Council and the Forestry Commission.

The site is in the NE corner of large open area (on the West side of the wood) just off the inside of the track which goes all round the wood. There is actually a small ride that goes through from the East side of the track but it is easier to cut across the wood on the Yellow track and then go North looking for big open area and path in on right hand side.
