Hillfort in Northumberland

The site, a sub-oval multivallate enclosure is almost all ploughed out and due to no excavations of the site it is difficult to date. Recent opinion suggests that the site may have begun as a henge, and was subsequently re-used in later prehistory as a defensive enclosure.
