Rock Art in Northumberland
Beckensall tells us this rock art panel was discovered on 22nd June 1981 and was donated to the Museum of Antiquities (now the Great North Museum) by the Commanding Officer of Otterburn Training Camp. The panel has three small cups.
For basic information, including Beckensall's brief notes, description and photographs, see England's Rock Art entry for ERA-1902 Todlaw Pike. NADRAP did not record this panel. The original Beckensall record can be found at Internet Archive: Beckensall 1007 Todlaw Pike.
Historic England Source ID 1015531 describes an unenclosed settlement, field system, Bronze Age cairnfield cemetery and shieling around the same area.
Please note this rock art panel was donated to the Great North Museum.
