If anyone is interested in anything specific about this site we can investigate it for you as we live only a few hundred yards from it.

In return I would ask you to give us any information on the site's history as the family are novices but very interested.

This site is also known as The Rocking Stones and the Muckle Stane of Auchmaliddie. In Novemebr 2000 it was made a scheduled ancient monumnet. It is considered to be the remains of a recumbent stone circle with the two stones left being the recumbent and the west flanker.

Both stones are quartz and come from an outcrop some half a mile away to the SW. It it prime it would have sparkled inthe sun!
