Crawberry Hill
Crawberry Hill submitted by rich32 : Crawberry Hill stone circle, nr Allendale, Northumberland (NY880563) A small circle that looks like it was made yesterday. All of the stones except 1 are inset. The recently burnt back heather has revealed an area covered with small inset stones. I saw at least 3 possible circles next to this one, but there again I always do. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Crawberry Hill (b) submitted by rich32 : Crawberry Hill, nr Allendale, Northumberland (NY86847-56507) Found this in burnt back heather. I wasn't quite sure whether to make anything of it, but thought it interesting enough to post. Other stones in the area looked random, this didn't. Consisting of 5 small inset stones with one end left open... reminded me of Bleaberry Stone Circle in Cumbria. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Nice place - very pagan (well it is y'know!) It gave me a sense of belonging when I sat within it - about all i can say about it really. Jeremy
