Tyrebagger
Tyrebagger submitted by Suncircle49 : Collection of photos of the recumbent 16-21/6/19: Canmore describes Tyrebagger with ‘a fallen recumbent’, but my first impressions, it’s a ‘Dolmen’. The recumbent and its flanker’s are very different to any existing RSC in Aberdeenshire. Its alternative name DYCE which is very similar to DYSSE meaning ‘Dolmen’. A recumbent on stone mounts…. a Dolmen? (Vote or comment on this photo)
Recumbent stone circle in Aberdeenshire. Overlooks Dyce Airport and with a radio mast adjacent, this stone circle still has wonderful atmosphere.

Note: New photos of Tyrebagger including shadow casting and aerial shots

Tyrebagger
Tyrebagger submitted by hamilton : Christmas Eve on a day of snow showers and sunny spells. Accessing Tyrebagger involved negotiating country paths deep in virgin snow, but it proved so worthwhile. A long sunny spell illuminated the Stone Circle to perfection. (3 comments - Vote or comment on this photo)

Construction of the bypass is now well under way - will have to check out the stone circle again - if I can get near it for all the construction traffic!

I couldn't find my way to see this in the half hour I had spare before having to check in at the airport when I was up there a few weeks ago!

To describe Tyebagger as a beautiful place would be like saying water is wet, I simply don't have the words. I suggest you see for yourself...
