This Cairn sits in a magnificent position with superb views in all directions. Unfortunately this very viewpoint has been its downfall with the hill top now littered with mobile phone and radio masts. Even before thsi the Cairn had been desecrated by first a Trig Point and then a World War 2 watchtower (now removed except the base) being erected using the Cairn as a base.
