Nether Coullie
Nether Coullie submitted by cosmic : All that remains. The RCAHMS account notes a nine stone ring in 1860 surrounding a tenth stone. Arround 1876 the farmer dismantled it with two stones erected at the edge of the field. A sole remaining stone fell in agale in 1983 according to the current farmer. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Recumbent Stone Circle in Aberdeenshire. Only a single stone remains of this destroyed stone circle. It may be the west flanker of the destroyed recumbent in a circle of 10 stones that had a diameter of c.24m. Two of the orthostats have been built into a nearby wall.
