pitglassie-loon
Brought up in uppermill/pitglassie 1928-1938 as children we used to play hide and seek in the Corrydoon stone circle and when older saw the various stone circles around Pitglassie (pitglessie) . The centre piece of pitglassie was the suiters shoppie (Fentons), so Sandy if you are still in the ancient business, you can contact me via this website, user ID Hebbie B. or Herbalo1@ukonline .co.uk

From 1928 to 1935 I lived at Uppermill farm in the cottage(cotter hous)beside the burn. The stone circle was only 2ooyds across the other burn,so we played hide and seek there! The state of the stones then was that they were at crazy angles but respected by the farm owner Willie Hutcheon whose Main farm was near Towie Barclay. Any more info. required I can be contacted on herbie.barlow@fsmail net
