Chambered Tomb with Long Mound in Somerset

Two parallel stones and what may be a roofing stone survive at the eastern end of this disturbed long mound. The site was excavated by Dobson in 1909 when he found 'human remains closely packed together in groups, generally between vertical stones, and sometimes overlain with slabs of stone'. They were all found 'in one part of the mound, and at the base of two which still stand, apparently in their oroginal position, at the east entrance of the barrow.'
