Round Barrow in Cheshire

The scheduled bowl barrow of High Billinge is a prominent oval mound located on an exposed hilltop close to Utkinton. Unfortunately trees and fencing have encroached onto the tumulus which is now approximately 2m high and 35m north to south by 24m east to west.

The barrow is certainly on private land, but is not easily viewed from the road, except maybe in winter when a glimpse through the trees is possible.
