This circle is no more, according to reports on the RCAHMS webpage -
"About 1810, four large stones, said to have been the remains of a circle, were removed by the farmer from an arable field on the side of the Hill of Bucharn. They formed the corners of a square and were about 40 links apart. Bones were found whilst digging at the foot of them.
Name Book 1871."
"No evidence of a stone circle was found at the site indicated.
Visited by OS (EGC) 15 September 1961."
