Standing Stone in Aberdeenshire

An impressive stone almost nine feet tall standing in pasture.
Apparently there is a carved stone ball nearby but I didn't spot it.
Accessed it from track to Lewishillock (park at road end on grass - track very rough) and go straight on at bend. At end of wood stone can be seen slightly off to the right.

The area was deforested a replanted a few years ago. The whole area (including the stone) was fenced in at this time.

I've been told there is a gap for access somewhere along the fence, but I didn't travel far enough to locate it. I did find that the fence is scalable, if you are able, no barbed wire.

The land inside the fence is more overgrown (presumably due to lack of access for grazing animals), and is pretty hard going.

I visited often when I lived in the area, and can say that ease of access has decreased considerably in just the past decade.
