Ancient site in Aberdeenshire

Not on OS Map, and people in nearby town of Glendindie were not aware of any circle. Climbed up to coordinates, but nothing there. There is a flat area on the side of the hill that would have been an appropriate site, but no stones are present.

All four photos above are of the Glenkindie Standing Stone at NJ 43828 13751 (also known as Treasure Stone, Bullhide Stone and Waterside Stone).

The map reference for this page (NJ414147) refers to the stone circle on Dalrossach Hill at NJ 4148 1479, which is now thought to be the remains of a kerb cairn. See RCAHMS webpage for more details.
