Cairn in Angus

Sited not far from the impressive Keillor standing stone, The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) features a page for this huge prehistoric tomb - see their entry for Kinpurnie, Newtyle, Angus, which gives directions for finding this site, together with a photograph and a brief archaeology & history.

This cairn is also recorded as Canmore ID 30914, which has a very brief entry from 1983 saying: "A grass-grown cairn, situated 400m WNW of Kinpurnie Castle and now covered with trees, measures about 27m in diameter and 2.5m in height; a possible cist can be seen at the centre."
