From Coflein NPRN 306285: "A spring issues into a drystone, open-ended, slab-roofed chamber, 1.4m by 0.7m and 1.1m high, which has small niches set into it."
The Journal of Antiquities also includes an entry for this holy well - see their page for Partrishow Church, Forest Coal Pit, Powys, which includes information about the churchyard cross and this well. The Journal entry includes a photograph, a description and background information on both the well and its waters, together with St Issui, a 6th century hermit who lived beside the well but who was martyred. The well became a place of pilgrimage in medieval times, and is still a place of pilgrimage today; the well has niches within to place offerings or flowers.
