Hindwell Farm 2
Hindwell Farm 2 submitted by TimPrevett : Spot the round barrow! Nicely shown by the line of the hedge, with the curve of the surviving barrow; this is the day after the All Wales and European Vintage Ploughing Championships. One wonders what a bit of field walking could yield... (Vote or comment on this photo)
Round Barrow(s) in Powys

A huge round barrow, around 100 feet in diameter, surviving about 4 feet high; just inside the northern line of the Hindwell Pallisaded Enclosure which the curve of the modern lane to its north follows.
