Cefn-y-Gader cairn (2) submitted by postman : Looking down on Cefn-y-Gader, without the stone on top the cairn would melt away into the surroundings. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Cairn in Denbighshire (Sir Ddinbych)

Really not far from the road at all. There are parking places next to the footpath entrance, and the barrow can be seen from here, walk down the road to the leaning boundary stone then thirty metres through heather, easily spotted. Three meters high. Rising above the surrounding featureless moors like a whale breaching the surface, instead of blowing spray it gives forth stone.
The stone on top of the cairn is Coflein says a boundary stone and indeed the county borders run right over the barrow, but there is a boundary stone just thirty meters away or so, do they usually have two so close together.
