Just off a minor road running North from Dunbeath so I would have to disagree with Lybster as the nearest village. Ambience is spoilt by the old school building some 50 metres to the NW which is now a private house.

Alignments to the Sutherland hills to the South seem likely.

It is some 8 feet high by 2.5feet by 1.5feet
