Broch in Caithness

3,5 m high turf-covered mound which is remain of a broch. According to the reports from 1965 in it's NW part remains of the walls were visible, but now they are gone.

This site is recorded as Canmore ID 8356, an entry from 1981 reading: "Tulach Buaile a' Chroic applies to the remains of a broch, apparent as a turf-covered mound in the angle of an old river terrace in the N corner of a field. The mound measures 27.0m NW-SE by 24.0m transversely and stands, on the E half, 3.0m high; the W half has been quarried into leaving a level grassy area delimited by a well-defined scarp, 1.5m high, in the NW. No walling is evident. On the SE side of the mound a trench-like depression suggests that there may have been a ditch".
