SumDoood visited on 17th Mar 2017 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 3 Access: 3 This location (where did that name Weston Camp come from?), is I think a settlement, not a hillfort. My 1:25000 map showed it as a Settlement. Both of these (hill)forts were perhaps "defended enclosures", but this is significantly smaller than the adjacent Llanfilo Camp. Superb location for views of the Brecon Beacons which surely were of significance to the builders, and of other hillforts in the area.

Weston Camp submitted by SumDoood : The only obvious large rock on the surface. Found at 51.985183,-3.296123. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Weston Camp
Weston Camp submitted by SumDoood : Pen-y-fan and Corn Du clearly seen from this settlement / hillfort. Both mountains have the rebuilt remains of Bronze Age cairns on their summits. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Weston Camp
Weston Camp submitted by SumDoood : The north and west sides of the "settlement" (which Coflein refers to as "a smaller, less well preserved hillfort"). It is viewed here from where the public footpath leaves the road which runs across the open "common" land known as Allt Filo (Milo's Hill).

I can't begin to understand why this might be called Weston Camp, and wonder if it's been wrongly named here. Can't we call it Allt Filo hillfort?

What do Coflein call it? Vicky must have been entering these sites from a recognised hillfort reference (I'm not sure exactly what that was in this case)

Thanks for the lovely photos by the way - front page!
