Templestone submitted by LizH : A bright day, a truly wonderful view over Moray and onto Findhorn Bay, and the circle in the field with horses, but I was given permission to go in. It is a very small circle but nevertheless impressive. (1 comment - Vote or comment on this photo)

Four poster: four stones form a rectangle, 3.4 m by 2.7 m, rather than a circle. The largest stone is at the southwest corner. This is a very small but quite well formed example of this, probably very late, type of stone setting.

Directions: 2 miles SE of Forres. On B9010, 250 m N of Rafford Kirk, turn E up hill on minor road for 2/3 mile to group of houses at Templestone. Walk along field boundaries immediately N of houses to stone setting which is in within at NW corner of field E of houses.
