Cold Knap Round Barrow
Cold Knap Round Barrow submitted by sem : The Knap from Friar's Point. Shown as an island on a 17th century map this was probably the case in the Bronze Age, making it possibly a stopping place for traders and "bluestone transportation". (Vote or comment on this photo)
Cairn on Cold Knap point in South Glamorgan

In 1958 fragments of a narrow rim cinerary urn were found here and in 1967 a portion of a small collared urn (Coflein NPRN 300138).

A 17th century map shows that the Knap was then an island so it is possible that this was the case in the Bronze Age.
