Stone Circle in Powys. A 19m diameter circle of small stones with many gaps suggesting some stones may be buried beneath the peat. The stones are very close together indicating that this may be the remains of a kerb-cairn although there is no sign of an internal mound. A number of small cairns are in the immediate vicinity.

Although this low stone circle is quite ridiculously difficult to find in the bracken, the surrounding upland plateau is positively hoaching with sites - a small cairn cemetery surrounds the circle and stone alignments abound. The area would repay detailed survey handsomely. The ridge itself boasts several fine round barrows, standing stones and a particularly well preserved hut circle. On a clear day you can see from Cadair Idris to Corndon Hill.
