Maen Cleddau submitted by TimPrevett : Looking NE to Brenig 6 (just right of centre) from the erratic Maen Cleddau - The Stone of Swords. Left to right, John, Victor (whatisthat), Glenn, and Hailstones far right. Is she being ill? (Vote or comment on this photo)
A diamond shaped natural erratic a short way south west from Brenig 6.

Its prominent position from the cairn means that at some point during the year, the sun will set over the stone viewed from the cairn, or the sun will rise over the cairn when viewed from the stone. Whether this is of any significance is uncertain. There are not many sizeable stones, and the name "The Stone of Swords" makes one wonder about what folklore may be attached to the stone.
