Normangill Henge A Class II henge (2 entrances) oval in shape 61x55metres. The banks and internal ditch can be clearly seen. On the south side, the terminal of one of the banks has at some point been modified to create a circular turf sheepfold.

A road runs across the centre of the henge destroying a strip of the site about 11 metres wide. The henge is situated on gently sloping land on the south side of a valley (Camps Water)

bolshieboris: Such a pity the road goes right through it, presumably the builders had no idea what it was. A lovely isolated location.
