Holy Well or Sacred Spring in South Glamorgan

"A rectangular stone chamber, 2.0m by 1.5m, having a carved pannel on its S, issuing side. The well is perhaps better associated with Llanmihangel park/gardens, where there is a water feature with a similar panel, than with the nearby church." - Coflein.

St Anne's Well (Llanmihangel) submitted by geoffstickland : The well is to the right of the church gate before you enter the churchyard, surrounded by a fence. At the time of visit (May 19) the area was very over grown and the well barely visible (Vote or comment on this photo)

I visited here in 2013. The tiny church was locked, but we walked around the outside, it had no electricity and is lit only by candlelight for services. Easy access to the well and church from the road. The well was damp, with no running water. There is a pretty stream nearby.
