Hillfort in Powys
Caerau is a complex of Roman monuments set beside the Roman Carmarthen/ Castelll Collen road - halfway between the modern Carmarthen and Llandrindod Wells - on a small hill above the small river Camach. It was occupied in the period roughly between 75AD and 250AD.

The main fort was about 400' by 250' with rounded corners. Archwilio lists a whole range of features associated with the site, from practice camps and a marching camp and the usual facilities associated with Roman forts - too many to list in detail here. These seem to indicate a fairly major settlement.

Other reliable sources list this site, including Coflein and HistoricWales.
