Hillfort in Powys
On a hill above the very pretty Llyn Clywedog reservoir, right above the dam at its southern end is this fairly well preserved stone built hill fort. Entrances at the north west and south east. Several wind shelters have been constructed with in the wall. A small probably modern cairn adorns the summit.
Brilliant views all around, especially over the Llyn, Surely no man-made reservoir has a right to be so damn attractive. But it is.
Coflein site no. 304941.
