Kilearnan Broch
Kilearnan Broch submitted by Andy B : Remains of a broch near Killearnan Copyright sylvia duckworth and licensed for reuse under the Creative Commons Licence. (Vote or comment on this photo)
A heavily ruined broch, a mound of rubble with a few stones of the lower courses of its wall showing.

Internally it has a diameter of about ten metres, on the north side the mound of rubble is about 3metres high, on the south side the mound is collapsing down a steep slope towards the burn. Away from the burn side the broch is surrounded by a shallow ditch.
