A long, steep climb to the remote spot on the mountain top. The low lying, hollow circle of stones can be hard to spot as it is hidden by the surrounding vegetation. There are extensive views in all directions, including down into the Elan Valley's Caban Coch reservoir.

An exposed position high on Waun Lwyd mountain after a long, steep climb the site offers extensive views down to the reservoir. Basically, all that remains is a low-lying circle of stones with a hollow central space. The cairn is hard to spot without GPS location.
