Halwell Camp South West submitted by TheWhiteRider : The section of Stanborough Camp (Halwell Camp South West) visible from a nearby path. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Hillfort in Devon

From TheWhiteRider: A univallate Iron Age hillfort commanding high ground South of Halwell.

The fort lies on private proprty but is visible from a path with public access running NE alongside it.

Some distance along this path are the remains of a Medieval ringwork and further still is a Bronze Age barrow cemetary.
